Thank you for the letter. Summer is here and we have had crazy weather
so far this year. Heavy rain hit Sayo, a village close to Kobe, to
break down an expressway. An earthquake hit Shizuoka, too. Oh, and our
prime minister will change next month.

I changed jobs again. The teaching job only lasted for two months. The
company decided not to renew the contract. My third company of this
year (Oh my God) sells copying machines. I am going to work as a
telephone operator, making cold calls all day long. It must sound
stressful and boring for most people. But actually, cold calling was
my favorite thing to do when I used to sell self-study kits. This time
I am making calls to men in companys, and not to mothers in houses. It
shoud be challenging but I will do my best.

My sister and her boyfriend got engaged. They are to get married in
July next year. They have been going out together for about two years
already. They are a good couple, I guess.

From October, I am going to rent a house to live alone. I have saved
money to buy new furniture. I am enjoying looking for what to buy. My
sister is going to move out of her house at the end of September to
work in Hokkaido and I am taking her place. I am already excited. So
far I have bought a 40 inch television to replace the 21 inch one I
got from the branch manager in 2007.
