Dear Steve,

Hello.

I was at work today when my boss told me you had died.
A sense of blankness struck me.
It was almost as shocking as losing a relative. Perhaps even worse.
I checked the news in Japanese and English during lunch time, retweeting at least 7 scripts.

Though I've never met you before, I've seen your great speeches on the internet.
They really fascinated me.

The iPhone was the first Apple product I bought.
I made the purchase in 2008, which changed my life.

As a part-time artist and translator, working as a full time staff for a small toy manufacturer in Kobe, Japan, I keep all my favorite drawings in my iPhone to show others if there's an opportunity.
I study English on the iPhone by listening to the Wall Street Journal This Morning podcast every night before I go to bed. And it wakes me up every morning.
I check the news on the Reuters app on the train before and after work.

Much of my lifestyle since summer 2008, and many of the daily routines all come from you.
You and your creations made my life so much better.
